Another one from Bussana Vecchia.

That place is a goldmine for photography.

    Rooftop

So the season is over and I’m going to try and restart this after the hiatus. The website is due for an upgrade which will happen slowly but for now I’ll show some photos from the summer. Unfortunately I can’t show my favorite ones due to their content of high profile people and confidentiality agreements but I still have some gems I like.

This is Bussana Vecchia. A medieval village destroyed and abandoned in 1887 after an earthquake that killed over 2000 people. The village has since been illegally occupied by a number of artisans that have turned it into a rather neat place (and have successfully fought and survived multiple evictions). The photo was taken from the rooftop garden of a man by the name of Marco.

      Propeller

This one is pretty self explanatory  We’re out of the water right now so we got the bottom and props cleaned. I took this one at 1 am using a headlamp to light up the prop. The pattern on the prop is not from the light however but from the grinder used to clean it.

        Chasing Light

So Dad and I were often seeing these great shots where the light was doing something abnormal or intriguing. Unfortunately  many times were were not able to pull over in time before the moment was lost. This is one of those shots. The original atmosphere that we saw was lost before I could get the camera however I like the mood of this photo anyways.

          Under Way

Things have been pretty busy the last little while so I haven’t had much time for photos. This is one I took as we were moving from Anguilla to St Barths (You can see St Maarten in the background).  It isn’t my favorite of the trip but unfortunately I can’t show you my favorite as there are guests in that one.

            Between Storms

On our first day of driving through Iceland, Dad and I kept driving through whiteout after whiteout with only glimpses of the area we were driving. This was one of those glimpses.

              Gullfoss

Taken In Iceland. Dad will remember this one. Or particularly yelling at me for going outside on to the ice beyond the safety netting.
