Curious

Just a random bird in the Galapagos.

If it looks a little funny it’s because the bird as a little bit out of focus. At the time I took the photo, the lens was pretty new to me and I hadn’t quite mastered focusing it.

    Sleep

I know it’s stone but that spot looks particularly comfortable.

I took this in the Galapagos. It’s pretty self explanatory.

In other news I have a snazzy new computer with a proper screen on it. You don’t want to know what I was using before.

      Green

Norway is an incridbly green place. I’m guessing it has to do with all the rain. While I was there I saw only about 2-3 hours of sunshine. There was plenty of daylight. Around 22 hours of daylight. The sun, however, rarely comes out. It made for some cool photos though.

This was taken driving around in the everglades.

Not one of my best however I felt’ I should put something up given it’s been over a month since the last update.

I’m in Norway right now. In a cool side note, jet lag combined with perpetual sunlight (23h) really screws with your internal clock. My clock says not tired (since I just slept), my brain says go out and explore while it’s daylight, common sense says it’s the middle of the night, you should be sleeping. This whole thing is compounded by not having a watch therefore not knowing what time I went to bed, got up or what time it is right now.

          Cliche

Photographs of cats have unfortunately become rather cliche of late.

Too bad. I like this photo.

This cat sat there staring at us from the Kotor wall while we photographed it. Her kitten was more camera shy.

Down the beach from the resort/marina we’re staying at is an old abandoned resort. On a day off I took a walk down there and started to play with a 10 stop filter I bought a couple months ago. This was the result.

All I’ve done digitally is the black and white conversion. Everything else was done in camera with one exposure.

I can’t think of a suitable title for this photo.
